Eight year-old Zion Williams had recently been treated for alopecia; a condition that makes sufferers love their hair.

After undergoing painful shots to stimulate hair growth, Zion’S doctors were able to give him a full head of hair.

Instead of being happy for Zion , his school informed him that his new hair had in fact grown too long…and expelled him!

The school has a rule in place that bans long hair. Even though Zion presented school officials with a doctor’s note explaining his condition, hair growth and requesting that his situation be exempted from the strictly enforced rule, he was still ousted from the Academy last Wednesday and forced to stay home.

After Zion’s mother appeared on television discussing their ordeal, the school caved and let Zion return to school.
