Home Depot apologized for a racist tweet sent from its Twitter account Thursday. The tweet was part of the company’s “College Gameday” coverage on ESPN.

The tweet featured two African-American drummers with a drummer wearing a gorilla mask in between them with the caption: “Which drummer is not like the others? See more @CollegeGameDay pics at #HDgameday #football”

From NBC:

The tweet was promptly deleted by the company, but not before it was screen-grabbed by another user and retweeted by over 200 users and sent to the NAACP’s Twitter account by an angry Twitter user. Home Depot quickly apologized to the NAACP and the person who tweeted the organization the photo, saying the tweet was “dumb.”
