Each year, Forbes releases their 30 Under 30 Entertainment list  The list reflects some of the hottest online entertainment executives, who are paving their way to stardom via YouTube and other social media platforms.

This year, “Awkward Black Girl” and “Rachetpiece Theater” creator Issa Rae has joined the ranks.

 The 28 year old caught Hollywood’s attention with her web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl. Now she’s working on a TV show for HBO and writing her first book.
