Shortly after traveling to Palestine and Israel earlier this year, and the release of my song Checkpoint, I recorded this interview so I could express my initial thoughts about the trip. As you can imagine, the  interview ended up being pretty long. This is part one, where I talk about how I became apart of the delegation commissioned by the Carter Center, and how I felt when I first arrived.
