According  to sources close to the investigation, George Zimmerman will finally be charged in relation to the death of Trayvon Martin.

Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey will be making an official announcement today at 6pm EST. It is currently unknown exactly what charges will be filed against Zimmerman; details will hopefully be revealed at today’s press conference.

Just yesterday, Zimmerman’s attorney’s announced that they were no longer representing him, and suggested that Zimmerman is no longer in the State of Florida.

From the Washington Post:

“The announcement of a charge against Zimmerman would come a day after Zimmerman’s attorneys withdrew from the case, citing their inability to contact Zimmerman.

Lawyers Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig on Tuesday expressed concern about Zimmerman’s emotional and physical well-being, saying he has taken actions without consulting them. They also said they do not know where Zimmerman is.

‘You can stop looking in Florida,’ Uhrig told reporters. ‘Look much further away than that.'”
