A false fire alarm at Detroit’s Central Collegiate Academy broke out into fights among students that ended with police intervention. According to reports from FOX2, the alarm went off around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon and students claim that bottles and rocks were being thrown at them while they were outside. A brawl reportedly started among students and police used pepper spray to calm the crowd.
Talent is often exhibited in the youth, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive when they put it on full display. Proving this point, nine-year-old Anaya Lee Willabus has published her first book, The Day Mohan Found His Confidence.
While this would be a major achievement for anyone, Willabus made history. The Brooklyn native is the youngest female author to publish a chapter book in the United States, according to the Huffington Post.
