Chicago’s bright young tennis star will make her Wimbledon debut Tuesday.

From ABC: 

18-year-old Taylor Townsend, makes her Wimbledon debut Tuesday morning. She faces a No. 31 seed from the Czech Republic.

Townsend’s match will air live around 10 a.m., Chicago time. She received a wild card invitation to the tournament.

Last month, Townsend won her first-round match at the French Open when she beat fellow American and 62nd ranked Vania King, 7-5, 6-1.

It was the teen’s first appearance at the competition.
