Racial justice advocates want to have an open dialogue about race relations in the country. They’re doing just that by hosting their 15th annual “National White Privilege” conference in March.

The conference hopes to highlight race issues locally by examining white privilege in daily living.

From White Privilege Conference:

WPC is a conference that examines challenging concepts of privilege and oppression and offers solutions and team   building strategies to work toward a more equitable world.

It is not a conference designed to attack, degrade or beat up on white folks.

It is not a conference designed to rally white supremacist groups.

The conference’s website continues to state that its goal is to “examine issues of privilege beyond skin color,” and is “open to everyone and invites diverse perspectives.”

The 15th annual White Privilege Conference will be held March 26-29 at Monona Terrace Convention and Community Center in Madison.
