WGN America finally gave viewers a sneak-peek into the highly anticipated plantation-thriller Underground by releasing two trailers on Wednesday.

The series, which premiers on March 9, tells the story of slaves on a Georgia plantation daring to make their way out to freedom.

Oscar- and Grammy-award winning singer John Legend is the executive producer on the project, and counts Friday Night Lights’ Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Empire’s Jussie Smollett, Law & Order’s Christopher Meloni and Straight Outta Compton’s Aldis Hodge amongst its star-studded cast.
