Kanye compares fight with paparazzi to Civil Rights movement
Kanye West has a lot of folks giving him the side eye after some pretty insulting comments by the star were made public recently.
The “Jesus Walks” rapper ACTUALLY compared his plight as a celebrity with the paparazzi to that of the Civil Rights movement.
In a transcript of West’s deposition in the case where he is accused of assaulting a photographer, the “Bound 2″ rapper said “I mean in the ’60s people used to hold up ‘Die N****r’ signs when my parents were in the sit-ins also.”
They may have gone through a little more than seeing mean signs held up, ‘Ye. Stuff like, oh I don’t know, having dogs set off on them?
West went on to say “I equate it to discrimination. I equate it to inequalities.”
At one of his concerts last month, the rapper compared paparazzi violations to rape.
No Kanye. No.
