Marissa Alexander,33, appeared in court Wednesday where a judge set a date of July 21 for jury selection in her new trial.

Alexander is charged with three counts of attempted assault with a deadly weapon for firing a warning shot in the direction of her estranged husband.

In Alexander’s retrial, Judge James Daniel requested on Wednesday that all potential jurors fill out a jury questionnaire by July 21. Jury selection is slated to take place on July 25, which is when Daniel wants to have the jury seated. The retrial is slated to start on July 28.

Alexander was previous convicted on the three counts and sentenced to 20 years in prison. In September, a judge overturned her conviction after finding error in how information was handed to the jury.

Alexander, who remains out on bond, could face 60 years in prison if convicted again.
