The Obama Reelection Capmaign has unleashed their first television ad of the 2012 election season.

Check it out below.

Dealing largely with Obama’s record on clean energy and ethics, the 30-second spot is also notable for calling out the Koch Brothers, “the wealthy conservative industrialists who have funded the Tea Party and anti-gay, anti-labor politicians such as Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.” The ad does not mention them by name, instead referring to “secretive oil billionaires” who attack the President with nonfactual ads.

According to Rod 2.0, the ad will begin airing today in Ohio, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin.

From the Obama Campaign:

“President Obama has taken steps to make us energy independent and create an economy that’s built to last. He’s been a strong supporter of domestic energy production, has made historic investments in clean energy technology, and has nearly doubled fuel-efficiency standards for cars and trucks. Because of the progress we’ve made, our dependence on foreign oil is the lowest it’s been in 16 years. Yet, conservative groups funded by big oil are spending millions trying to distort the President’s record.”
