Jackie Robinson West might have lost the World Championship against South Korea on Sunday, but they are winners in many of our hearts.

The all-black Little League baseball team became the USA champions in the World Series on Saturday. For their amazing accomplishments, Chicago will throw a parade in honor of the team.

From Chicago Tribune:

The parade will be Wednesday and begin on the South Side and end at Millennium Park, according to a news release from the city. The start time of the parade was not announced.

The regular Wednesday fireworks at Navy Pier this week will also be dedicated to the team, according to the release.

The team was defeated Sunday in the world championship game, 8-4, by a team from South Korea.
