Eunique Jones has created a photographic sensation with her “Because of Them, We Can-Black History and Beyond” campaign and has taken the movement to KICKSTARTER.

The plan is to raise $80,000 by June 19th, to produce a high quality book contained with all 365 images of kids turned icons.

The KICKSTARTER project will cover design and layout, copyediting, printing and delivering expenses for the book.

While the National conversation about the lack of Black history in education persists, Eunique has found her niche to continuously impact the world and creatively educate Black chidlren about the power of their people.

 “It’s very hard to empower youth to be something their unaware of …I’m going against the grain and raising the bar of expectation”, Eunique explains as she speaks passionately about the importance of: meeting young Black America where they are, educating them about Black history, and providing a platform where kids can understand the struggle and progress of Black America by symbolically walking in the shoes of trailblazers.

Credited by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Spike Lee, Common, Tom Joyner, Deborah Lee, and media outlets like Jet Magazine, Ebony Magazine and The Huffington Post, just to name a few, Eunique’s masterpieces are far from the unknown.

When TRAYVON MARTIN was murdered Eunique turned to photgraphy and created the “I AM TRAYVON MARTIN MOVEMENT’, which took social media by storm:
I was looking for a way to express my anger. As a mother, the injustice hit close to home and I wanted to make positive impact through positive actions“, says Eunique.
