As a way to avoid the harsh effects of a racially biased justice system, Minister Louis Farrakhan is proposing that blacks in America set up their own court system.

“We want equal justice under the law,” Farrakhan said. “Our people can’t take much more. We have to have our own courts.” His remarks came a week after a jury acquitted Michael Dunn, a white Florida man, in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Jordan Davis but convicted him of attempted murder for firing gunshots at a car full of black teens during a dispute over loud music. “Has America been just to us?” Farrakhan asked the crowd, which agreed the nation had not. “If we retaliate, you can bring out your soldiers. We got some, too.”
