The Ku Klux Klan Is Planning a Rally To Celebrate Trump’s Victory
Donald Trump once claimed he had no idea who David Duke or the Ku Klux Klan were. But they clearly know who he is as Jezebel reports that the organization is planning to hold a rally to celebrate his election.
While details of the event are currently scarce, The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan plan to gather in North Carolina on Dec. 3 for a“klavalkade Klan parade.” This is the same group that held a rally in South Carolina to protest the removal of the Confederate flag from the state capitol.
According to the Los Angeles Times, this particular organization has between 150-200 members and is likely the most active chapter of the KKK in the country.
This is just the latest of multiple attempts by the Klan to align itself with President-elect Donald Trump, going as far as to endorse him and gaining vocal support from multiple groups within its ranks.
For all of the people who are still under the belief that Donald Trump’s entire campaign wasn’t based on racism, just consider why a group with deep roots in racism is bending over backwards to shoe their support.
