Here we are again. Examining how the President of the United States is on the verge of sparking international conflict with the tapping of his thumbs on a smart phone.

In President Trump’s latest newsworthy tweets, he called out North Korea’s leadership for their latest threat of nuclear assault. In other words, he’s calling their bluff by poking the bear to see if it’ll do anything.

“My first order as President was to renovate and modernize our nuclear arsenal. It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before,” Trump wrote just before 8 a.m. ET. “Hopefully we will never have to use this power, but there will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!”

Want to know the best part? CNN reports that Trump tweeted this from the golf resort where he’s spending his vacation.

This pair of tweets came as a follow-up to Trump’s recorded statements where he referenced the “fire and fury” North Korea would be met with if it attempted any attacks on the U.S. or its allies.

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States,” Trump said. “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state and as I said they will be met with fire and fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”

Trump supporters argue that he’s simply providing a strong show of force against a potential threat. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just hoping the p*ssing contest between him and Kim Jong-un doesn’t escalate anymore.
