Earlier this week we reported on the alleged murders of Britney Cosby and Cristal Jackson, a Texas lesbian couple.

Now, there are reports that Cosby’s father, James Larry Cosby, has been arrested in connection with those deaths.

Britney Cosby’s father, James Larry Cosby, is charged with 2 counts of tampering with evidence in connection with the death of his daughter and her friend Crystal Jackson, according to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office.

The two women’s bodies were found next to a dumpster outside the Fisherman’s Cove store in the 700 block of State Highway 87. A beer deliveryman found the victims around 7:30 a.m. when he took out some trash.

Detectives believe the women who were involved in a relationship, were killed somewhere else, not the location where their bodies were found.

According to deputies, Cosby died from blunt force trauma and Jackson was shot to death.

Cosby, 46, is currently being held in the Galveston County Jail on $500,000 bond.
