Activists in Ferguson, Missouri protested at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Saturday evening, by singing a Requiem for Michael Brown, the 18-year-old unarmed black teen who was fatally wounded on Aug. 9.

Officer Darren Wilson, who is a member of the Ferguson police department, has not been charged in his murder.

Towards the end of the performance’s intermission, an organizer stood up and began singing “Which Side are You on?,” a civil rights-era song, adding “justice for Mike Brown is justice for us all.”

The protester was soon joined by others scattered in the crowd. They left peacefully chanting, “black lives matter.”

Justice for Mike Brown.
