Lupe Fiasco, who has not been shy about his opinion of President Obama, had a performance cut short yesterday.

During a pre-inauguration concert in Washington D.C., Fiasco told the crowd that he had not voted for Obama and then proceeded to perform an anti-war song for 40 minutes.

When, according to witnesses, Fiasco refused to be move on to the next song after being told to do so by concert organizers, he was escorted off stage by security:

Was Lupe right to protest Obama at the event?
Was there a better time and place or was this the best time and place to voice dissent?
