William Balfour – the man convicted for murdering Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and nephew – has been sentenced to three consecutive life sentences, plus 120 years.

“Balfour, who was the ex-husband of Hudson’s sister Jennifer, was convicted of the first degree murder deaths of Hudson’s mom 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, her brother 29-year-old Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King.

The 31-year-old also faced charges of home invasion and residential burglary.

Hudson was present for the sentencing, dabbing away her tears as she stared down man whom she begged her sister not to marry. Balfour maintained his innocence throughout the trial.”
