Beef: NBC commentator Touré calls CNN’s Don Lemon a ‘White leader’
Touré, Host of MSNBC’s “The Cycle,” apparently has a bone to pick with CNN Analyst Don Lemon.
While ranting about white on white violence on Sunday, if that isn’t weird enough, the television personality released the following tweets:
Sorry for the confusion folks. “White leaders” was meant to connote “leaders of white people” not “leaders who are white.”

The idea that Black violence is endemic & speaks to the character of Black people while white violence is deviant & rare is… disgusting.

Why aren’t white leaders like Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh and Don Lemon doing anything to combat white on white violence??? #SOS — Touré (@Toure) December 9, 2013
White on white violence in this country is out of control. Someone should do something.

Touré also called out Conservative commentators Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly during his rant.
Recently, Don Lemon has been criticized for his stance on issues related to African Americans.
He recently was heard defending New York City’s controversial stop-and-frisk policy, arguing that many minorities would rather be “inconvenienced” by stop-and-frisk than shot at by criminals. The policy is one that unfairly uses racial profiling to prevent crime.
Thoughts on Touré ‘s tweets?
Is Don Lemon a “white leader?”
