Black College Student Leaders’ Recognized by YOUniversity Drive
YOUniversity Drive, LLC. has implemented an initiative that spotlights student leaders at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) throughout the nation, via social media and the company’s website.
The online engagement movement allows student leaders to sign up for the YOUniversity Drive Resource Center and provide students with exposure and access to people, programs, and tools that they may have difficulties connecting with in an emerging world.
“Team YOUDrive developed the #HBCUSGAPres Spotlight for students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities who are driven to succeed by utilizing their education, experiences, and talents to obtain success without excuses,” says Founder and CEO, Michelle Horton.
Phase 1 of the campaign recognizes Student Government Association (SGA) President’s at HBCU’s under the ‘HBCU Pres Spotlight‘ segment on the company’s website. SGA Presidents and other student leaders are encouraged to submit a DRIVER PROFILE to the Student Engagement Driver (Rashad@YOUniversityDrive.com) to be considered for future Spotlight opportunities in early 2015.
