BREAKING: Active Shooter On Ohio State University’s Campus, 8 Hospitalized
Reports from multiple sources claim that an active shooter has been found on Ohio State University’s Campus in Columbus, Ohio.
Early confirmation of the news came from the university’s Emergency Management account:
Buckeye Alert: Active Shooter on campus. Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College.

Later tweets asked everyone in the area to find shelter and follow any instructions from police officers who had arrived on the scene.

Update 10:30 a.m. CST: A federal law enforcement officer has reported that a suspect is dead and believes the threat has been contained.
Update 10:10 a.m. CST: Reports from local media outlets and authorities state that at least eight people have been taken to hospitals while at least one of them is listed in critical condition.
“We heard a lot of sirens. I was in class and everyone got a text message at the same time for the emergency alert,”Anthony Falzarano, 22, told CNN. “Someone said they heard popping right before we got the alert, but I didn’t hear it. We are in a shelter-in-place right now in the building next door.”
