Breaking: Pennsylvania stabbing spree leaves multiple students injured
Twenty students were injured after a student at a Pennsylvania high school went on a stabbing spree.
The suspected attacker, who is male, is in custody.
The incident occurred at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, about 20 miles east of Pittsburgh. It wasn’t clear if all the victims were students, or if any were injured in the scramble to get away from the knife-wielding attacker.
“The students’ conditions seem to be non-life threatening. It’s important that parents realize the scene is contained, the students that are here are safe,” Dan Stevens, deputy emergency management coordinator for the Westmoreland County told reporters.
