There has been a shooting at South Carolina State University, a historically black university located in Orangeburg, SC. At least one person has been injured.

South Carolina State University police say they have not yet apprehended the suspect, but they are in pursuit of the perpetrator. The school is on lockdown, and police say students are urged to take precautions.
