In 2014, more than 200 people have already lost their lives in Chicago. As the city continues to get a lot of attention for the amount of violence in the city, many are standing up in protest of the crimes.

BYP100 member Johnae Strong sits down with Rolling Out to talk about violence as a deeper symptom of depressed communities in the city.
