Chris Brown takes break from rehab to host toy drive
R&B singer Chris Brown took a break from rehab to attend at toy drive and holiday party for some kids at Brooklyn Projects Melrose on Sunday.
Brown posed with fans and collected toys at the Chris Brown and Brooklyn Projects toy drive.
“Thank you to all the fans who brought gifts for the kids today. Have a wonderful holiday. You’ve made a merry Christmas for a young child!,” Brown tweeted once the event was over.
Guests were asked to bring new, unwrapped toys for underprivileged children. Brown was ordered to remain in rehab on Dec. 16, where he’s been completing 24 hours of community service a week.
The rehab follows an October arrest for an alleged assault in Washington D.C. He was given a “day pass” to attend the event, and returned back to rehab immediately after.
