Certain folks like to bring God and Jesus arguments regarding sexuality because they think we can’t argue against that. They think their divine being has spoken and that’s the end of that

As unfair as it is to speak for someone who may or may not be there; I believe if God and Jesus are gonna be angry about something I would assume being constantly misrepresented and misquoted would be at the tip-top of the list of things they’re angry about.

Furthermore, if I were to ever listen to the word of any deity or their divine offspring, I’m certainly not gonna hear about it from any mere human. If the Christian God has something to say about me and my life, let them say that shit. Because as far as I’m concerned, you, the preachers, and the high-as-fuck misogynists who wrote the poorly aged, poorly translated pile of fanfic you call The Bible are just barely the middle-men and nothing more.

Hey, I’m open minded. If the Christian God wants to step in and speak for themselves, I will happily take a seat and have that discussion. They may turn out far more reasonable than most of the fandom. Maybe that whole “drowning the world” thing was just God going through something. I’d really like to know.

But until then, the magical invisible silent Sky Daddy has absolutely no say on me or who I should be. So you might wanna back down, mortal.
