Fox News has cut its ties with Bill O’Reilly, one of the networks most recognizable political pundits. The mutual break-up comes after O’Reilly has been publicly accused of sexual harassment by multiple women who once worked at the network.

Emphasis should be placed on “publicly” accused because it’s believed that FOX News has been paying women as much as a total of $13 million for years to cover up O’Reilly’s antics.

“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News, said in a statement.

The decision to cancel The O’Reilly Factor isn’t all that surprising to anyone whose been watching the situation evolve from rumors to scandal as more accusations have mounted against both O’Reilly and the network and financial sponsors have dropped the show like a bad habit. But that didn’t stop O’Reilly’s critics from celebrating the moment on Twitter.
