Frank Ocean (Finally) Released New Music And Stopped Trolling The World
Frank Ocean’s follow-up album has been so highly sought after for so long that it made its way into urban legend territory.
After four long years, the singer has finally ended his long-term test of the world’s patience and delivered new music in two projects. The first was 45-minute visual album entitled Endless, which can be streamed on Apple Music, and the second was Blonde, which was formerly titled Boys Don’t Cry.
Endless comes with 14 tracks, some of which have been heard as snippets over the past few years, and Blonde touts a total of 17, with features from Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, André 3000 and more. Maybe fans will feel like two albums help make up for the four years they spent waiting impatiently and constantly reminding Frank to give us new music.
In his thank you letter to fans via his Tumblr, Ocean even joked about the constant motivation from his fans.
“I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE MAKING ALL OF THIS. THANK YOU ALL,” the singer told fans in a brief message. “ESPECIALLY THOSE OF YOU WHO NEVER LET ME FORGET I HAD TO FINISH. WHICH IS BASICALLY EVERYONE OF Y’ALL. HAHA. LOVE YOU.”
Let us know if you thought the music was worth the wait in the comments.
