Jason Collins said that one opponent has taunted him since becoming the first openly gay player in the NBA.

He says doesn’t want to make a big deal about it, or give the “knucklehead” any attention.

Last week, the Brooklyn Nets announced that they were signing Collins for the rest of the season.

Collins has received overwhelming support for coming out, ranging from a standing ovation during last month’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, to his personal invitation from the FLOTUS to the State of the Union address.

Way to take the high road Jason.
