Jordan Peele is not resting on his laurels following the breakout success of the critically acclaimed Get Out. The writer/director announced via Twitter that his new film Us will be released on March 15th, 2019.

According to Variety, Black Panther breakout star Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong’o are both in talks for starring roles, along with The Handmaid’s Tale headliner Elisabeth Moss.

Us will mark the first film under Peele’s new deal with Universal Pictures, which he signed in the Spring of 2017 with his production company, Monkeypaw Productions.

Get Out was a runaway success last year, earning $255 million worldwide, amassing glowing reviews from critics imaginable and topped off all of this with a Best Original Screenplay win, along with Best Picture and Best Director nominations at the Academy Awards.

Peele will write, direct, and produce the film, sharing production credits with Sean McKittrick, Jason Blum and Ian Coooper.
