Outspoken Olympic athlete Lolo Jones is under fire after mocking Trayvon Martin’s friend Rachel Jeantel on twitter.

Jeantel has faced widespread scrutiny, oftentimes mean-spirited and abusive.

Lolo took it upon herself to add to that chorus of voices, comparing the young lady to Madea.

Jones faced immediate backlash, and deservedly so.

Despite critics like Jones, there are Jeantel supporters who have come to the teen’s defense.

Jones received a tremendous backlash from her fellow Twitter users and followers for her remark, with some telling her to “stop” and “grow up.”
