U.S. attorney Loretta Lynch has emerged as President Obama leading choice to be the next attorney general.

But the president does not plan on nominating anyone until after a trip to Asia next week.

From Washington Times:

White House press secretary Josh Earnest would not comment on the reports except to say that the president was still deciding on who to nominate.

If  selected, Lynch would be the first black female attorney general.

Let’s hope history is made!
