Lupita Nyongo, Idris Elba & others grace Vanity Fair’s most diverse cover ever
Vanity Fair is known for their glamorous three-panel foldouts, but this year’s Hollywood Issue is particularly special.
The cover features Oscar nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) and others. It is by far the magazine’s most diverse cover yet.
For the 20th annual Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, the magazine celebrates a year of spectacular film with a group of distinguished actors. The cover, a three-panel foldout by Vanity Fair contributing photographer Annie Leibovitz, features Oscar nominees Julia Roberts (August: Osage County), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), and Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), as well as Idris Elba (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), George Clooney (Gravity), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), Naomie Harris (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), Brie Larson (Short Term 12), Chadwick Boseman (42), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Léa Seydoux (Blue Is the Warmest Color).
The Hollywood issue will be available in New York and Los Angeles as well as on iPhone, iPad, Kindle and Nook on Feb. 7.
The magazine hits national newsstands 11.
