March 31: the last day to sign up for Obamacare
March 31 is the last day to sign up for the Obama administration’s healthcare plan.
If you’re wondering about the health care mandate, here are a few facts on it and how to sign up.
No matter what state you live in, you can access plans in your area at www.healthcare.gov.
Under Obamacare, or the 2010 Affordable Care Act, more than a dozen states operate their own on-line marketplaces, also known as exchanges. Other states use www.healthcare.gov as a platform for their exchanges. They’re all accessible through the “apply now” orange button on thewww.healthcare.gov home page.
You can also call the marketplace at 1-800-318-2596.
