Last week, we reported that police were investigating NFL player Aaron Hernandez’ involvement in the murder of his friend, Odin Lloyd.

Now, we have learned that Hernandez was arrested this morning, and charged with first degree murder.

From ESPN:

ATTLEBORO, Mass. — Police have charged Aaron Hernandez with murder and five weapons counts in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd, whose body was found in an industrial park about a mile from the former New England Patriots tight end’s home.

 

Hernandez, who was arrested Wednesday morning and released by the Patriots less than two hours later, has pleaded not guilty.
