Indya Moore is set to star in and executive produce a TV series titled Magic Hour, which is a retelling of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. According to Shadow and Act, Moore, who is one of five trans actors on Ryan Murphy’s hit show Pose was tapped by writer/director Che Grayson.

The 200 year anniversary of the publication of Shelley’s classic novel is coming up, and Magic Hour is a part of that celebration. Magic Hour, which also stars Niclas Ericsson and Yuka Taga, is a “psychedelic-macabre portrait of a mysterious young woman who wakes up one morning without a soul, and roams the streets of Tokyo in search of one,” according to IMDB,

The series will be shot on location in Tokyo and New York.
