Rick Ross has finally responded to the uproar surrounding his lyrics on the song “U.O.E.N.O.” that seem to make light of and condone date rape.

In an interview with  New Orleans radio station Q93.3, Ross says the lyrics have been misinterpreted, that he does not condone rape, and that he loves and respects women.

From TheDrop.fm:

In an interview with New Orleans radio station Q93.3, Rozay clears up all of the talk, stating that his lyrics are not about rape and he doesn’t condone it in any way. “Woman is the most precious gift known to man,” he says.

Rozay assures that he would never use the term “rape” and “It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation… hip-hop don’t condone that. The street’s don’t condone that.”
