Officer Timothy Loehmann, who fatally shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice in 2014, has been fired. The Cleveland Police Department announced that Loehmann was terminated due toย inaccurate details on his job application and other administrative policy violations, not for killing Rice.ย
After a year of investigation, a grand jury, on Monday, chose not to indict Timothy Loehmann and Frank Garmback, the Cleveland patrolmen involved in the shooting and death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice last year.
