Video footage of an 8-year-old girl and her alleged abductor has been released.

Footage from a surveillance camera inside a Washington, D.C., hotel shows a little girl believed to be Relisha Tenau Rudd walking down the hall with Kahlil Tatum, 51.

The video, obtained by WRC-TV, was recorded on Feb. 26 — the same day she was last seen at the D.C. Shelter for Families, where she lived with her mother.  Police said last week that they believe Relisha was placed in the care of Tatum, who was working as a janitor for the facility.But investigators were not aware of the child’s disappearance until March 20 — after school officials told police that Relisha had not attended classes for several days.

Detectives found Tatum’s SUV parked at a Red Roof Inn in Prince George’s County, the exact location where his wife — Andrea Tatum’s body was found inside one of the rooms. She was shot to death and an arrest warrant for Tatum was issued the next day.

An Amber Alert is still in effect for Relisha Rudd. The child stands at about 4 feet tall and weighs approximately 70 pounds.
