TLC Reality Show ‘The Sisterhood’ Wll Follow Wives of Atlanta Pastors
There’s no question that reality shows rule television, and, for better or worse, the success of the Atlanta strand of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise and Shaunie O’Neal’s Basketball Wives series proves that folks will flock to watch black women behaving badly.
Well, TLC has decided to jump in the fracas with The Sisterhood, a reality show centered on the “First Ladies” of several Atlanta-area churches:
“The Sisterhood,” according to TLC is an “honest, behind-the-scenes look into the struggles, triumphs and unique experiences that shape these bold women as they ditch their Sunday hats and morph into the dynamic and influential figures they have become and aim to be.”

The success of T.D. Jakes books and films and the black mega-church industry suggests that there’s a demographic for this show.
