Rapper/activist Talib Kweli is one of the few celebrities who traveled to Ferguson, Missouri to be at the forefront of the movement for justice after the death of Michael Brown.

He recently spoke to CNN’s Don Lemon, and things got pretty heated.

Watch the interview:

Instead of focusing on the events happening in Ferguson, Kweli and Lemon got into an argument about the unfair media coverage of the protests and events happening in Missouri.

Critics have condemned major media outlets for what they call unfair and bias coverage of Michael Brown’s death and the events following. Outlets have been accused of demonizing Brown, and painting a picture that the people who are protesting are cause for disruption.

“My job is to represent what I saw, and I have 90 seconds at least to say what I saw.” said Kweli.

Good job Mr. Kweli.
