Video: Mother of slain child uses music, social media to spread message of peace, find son’s killer
Lazarus Jones was gunned down at age 13 in 2007. His mother Pamela Hester-Jones has started the Lazarus Jones Save Our Children Campaign in hopes of saving a life or two.
The campaign provides support for parents, relatives and community members who have lost a loved one due to gun violence through counseling and networking.
Lazarus Jones Save Our Children Campaign was created to help save our children. We welcome parents and their children into a warm loving and peaceful environment. A community service center for families that have experienced trauma through violent acts.

She is also using music and social media to find her son’s killer.
By spreading messages via social media, Hester-Jones hopes that the person who took her son’s life will come forward.
