We previously reported onĀ Isaiah Austin, the standout Baylor University player with NBA dreams. The dreams came to a halt, however, after it was discovered that Austin had Marfan syndrome, a genetic disorder that would prevent him from playing basketball at the professional level.

But despite the fact that he’d never set foot on an NBA court as a player, commissioner Adam Silver “drafted” him in a touching tribute on Thursday.

Watch the act here:

NBA players, including Chris Paul, Kevin Love, and Kevin Durent all tweeted kudos to the NBA and Adam Silver for the move.

Austin called the moment “one of the biggest blessings of [his] life” and that he’s going to “dream again.”

Nice call NBA.
