Singer/Actor Tyrese Gibson taught his adorable daughter Shayla a lesson on self confidence. In a video released by Gibson, he is shown instilling  self-worth, pride, respect and love for oneself in his daughter.

“It doesn’t matter what they THINK of ME, I know what I think of myself. Repeat after me. I am amazing. I am significant.”

The daddy/daughter self love drill was meant to show that self-confidence starts at home. It is up to parents to teach, and nurture positive thoughts in the minds of black children about themselves.
