Less than a year after former Rep. Mel Reynolds ran for Congress, the convicted sex offender is once again facing allegations of misconduct. This time, the charges against Reynolds come during his stay in Zimbabwe. The Herald, Zimbabwe’s state-owned newspaper, reported that Reynolds was arrested after being found with pornography. 

In a rare weekend court session, the girlfriend of a man on trial for killing a 17-year-old black teen over loud music took the stand. Rhonda Rouer testified Saturday in the Florida murder trial of Michael Dunn. Dunn fatally shot Jordan Davis in front of a convenience store in November of 2012. 

Dr. Michael V. Drake has been named president of Ohio State University. This marks the first time that the state’s largest university system will be headed by an African American. Drake is the 15th president of the system.
