A New York-based publication has decided to print a headline that refers to President Obama as “The N***er in the White House.” The WestView News printed the headline. 

A Feed a Child television ad has sparked national outrage for its portrayal of a small black child as a dog. The Cape Town advertisement depicts a boy being given treats by a glamorous white woman in her lavish home. 

    According to research commissioned by BBC’s Newsround programme, 21 percent of black children felt their skin color would impact their level of success. Just 2 percent of white children and 13 percent of Asian children shared the same sentiment. 

For two days residents and visitors of Chicago will have the chance to experience unique films dedicated to showcasing works by and about the Black LGBTQ/SGL (same gender loving) community. Bean boots and a Yale University sweater to pose for a photo which she describes as a typical “Lawrenceville boi;” white, cocky and Republican. 

Photo: Kim Shine Two women were shot at Montrose Beach in Chicago as people gathered in celebration of the city’s gay pride weekend. One woman, 21, was shot in the shoulder. Another 48-year-old woman was shot in the arm and back. 

  According to a report released by Young Invincibles, African-American students who have attended college have the same probability of getting a job as a white high school graduate.  Researchers took a look at data mainly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census. 

  Hundreds of mostly poor students of color will be sent back to their home districts next school year. The students used  controversial Missouri law to transfer out of the failing schools, to enter better schools in predominately white neighborhoods.
