More than 60 New Jersey high school seniors were arrested early Thursday after allegedly breaking into their school for a class prank overnight. Police say the students urinated in the school’s hallways, flipped desks over and greased door handles.Â

Faculty at Rutgers University are protesting the choice of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as commencement speaker. The faculty is requesting that the university’s board of governors, who unanimously voted to award Rice with an honorary doctorate during the ceremony, rescind its invitation.Â
A New Jersey man is free after a dash cam video showing him being abused by police officers was released. Several charges were dropped against Marcus Jeter, 30, including eluding police and assault and two Bloomfield police officers have been indicted for falsifying reports. One of them has been charged with assault.
Eight members of Philipsburg High School’s wrestling team in New Jersey have been suspended after a photo of the team posing with a simulated lynching surfaced. The defendants say the picture was supposed to show school spirit, as the team is days away from a state tournament.Â
